I was born in Kyiv in 1990. My father
was a craftsman, and from early
childhood I watched him work in his
home studio. I absorbed that
atmosphere completely. Over the
years, he passed on his skills and
knowledge — just enough for me to
begin my own creative path.
Most importantly, my mind remained
free from academic rules and external
influences. It was a pure, childlike
impulse to explore that led me to
create art in the way I truly felt.
I began my independent journey in
2014. That was also the time I met my
muse and future wife, Liliia. Together,
we founded the niche jewellery brand
ZHERNOV.
In March 2022, we moved to Zurich,
beginning a new chapter in our lives
— and the story continues.
